Every April on World Hemophilia Day, employees are encourage to participate in awareness-raising campaigns and a variety of activities that will be organised on 17 April to tell people about hemophilia. You can also get involved on World Hemophilia Day.
On 17 April you are encouraged to wear red clothes to draw attention to the hemophilia cause. Take a picture of yourself with red clothes on and share it with the World Federation of Hemophilia.

Since 1989, patient groups worldwide have annually celebrated World Hemophilia Day (WHD) on 17 April to raise awareness and understanding of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. The date was chosen in honour of World Federation of Hemophilia founder Frank Schnabel, who was born on that day.
On WHD, Novo Nordisk together with patient groups around the world organise awareness-raising campaigns, media events and a variety of activities to educate people with hemophilia and the general public about bleeding disorders and emphasise the importance of proper care.
