Each person’s experience of living with hemophilia is unique, and everyone has their own story to tell and knowledge to share. This World Hemophilia Day 17 April is about sharing those experiences and knowledge. Because together, we can inspire, support and raise awareness for everyone affected by hemophilia.
Since 1989, patient groups worldwide have annually marked World Hemophilia Day on 17 April to raise awareness and understanding of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. The date was chosen in honor of the World Federation of Hemophilia founder Frank Schnabel, who was born on that day.
